The base holds the entire water filter unit up and in place.  You really don’t want to break or lose this, but if you did, just order a replacement here.

This is the plate that holds the carbon based Earth Filter in place.

Replacement part for the middle ring that separates the upper and lower reservoirs, and supports the upper filtration chamber of the water filtration unit.  Its kind of a big deal.

If this part breaks, you’re in for a wet day.  Best order another one soon and replace the bottom reservoir of the Home Water Filtration Unit.
